Jennifer Jacobs Bio

Arts Consultant Jennifer Jacobs,founder and managing partner of The Jacobs Group™, brings avant–garde attitude and youthful urban style to the world of group travel. A long–time advocate for emerging artists and the creative process, Jennifer Jacobs now expands boundaries through connecting contemporary audiences to burgeoning cultural destinations and events throughout the globe. Prior to founding The Jacobs Group™ in 2005, Jacobs served as the founding Director of Development for the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art (PICA) from 1997-2005, where she implemented and managed new and innovative travel programs.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Art History from Vassar College, with additional coursework in Art History and Connoisseurship at Sotheby’s and the Universität Heidelberg in Germany. Jennifer continues to stay on the leading edge of the contemporary art world every year by attending annual educational offerings at Sotheby’s Institute Of Art.
